Certain Impending Disaster

I’m a 26-year-old Cubs fan living in Champaign, IL.  I grew up near San Francisco, but my dad–an Illinois native and lifelong Cubs fan–raised me to root for the Cubs.  Sandberg was my favorite–I cried when he retired the first time–and I had a poster up on my wall of Andre Dawson.  This blog is a repository for my thoughts on the Cubs, baseball in general, and statistical tools used to try to understand baseball better.
